Damian Chambers is an ordained pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist church. He has served the Central Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists as Pastor and Conference Director for over 10 years. He has been serving as Communication Director of CJC since 2014 and re-elected in 2018. He also serves the Central Jamaica Conference as Health Ministries Director and Assistant to the President for Evangelism since 2017.
He is passionate about sharing the gospel using technology, writing and preaching. He is the author of the Basic Bible Doctrines Bible Study Guides, and the Special Study on the Righteousness of Christ (Study Guide), published by the Inter-American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. He hosted two devotional radio programmes and one lifestyle interview programme on behalf of CJC for a combined 4 years.
Pastor Chambers has completed several ministry software projects. Some of the major ones include a Desktop Application for Church Membership and Treasury Management that is used in CJC since 2013, the Content Management System (CMS) for the websites of the five Local Conferences in Jamaica and the Online Giving Website (https://give.centralja.org) for CJC.
Pastor Chambers holds a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Theology (2017) from the Inter-American Division Theological Seminary (IATS). He is also currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Systems (2020) from Northern Caribbean University (N.C.U) and completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool Online (2018).
He is married to Roxanne Mckoy, a teacher by profession. They have two children, Jaheem Ricardo and Janae Avielle. In his leisure time, Pastor Chambers also enjoys Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Computer Programming, Football and Cricket.
