The fires of hope continue to burn in the Central Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (CJC) even amid the COVID-19 health crisis. We are delighted to share our joy with you, about children who have been called by God to serve in His mission.
As you would have seen it posted in our various WhatsApp groups and public pages, Sunday, August 16, 2020, at 7:00 PM, we begin phase three in our Fires of Hope online evangelistic series, under the caption "Walking with Jesus". God has chosen child preachers from all around the CJC territory to share the Word of God with power. Mrs Claudia Bailey, Director of Women, Children and Adolescents Ministries, has been working prayerfully with her committees to make the most significant impact on those who will view the online series.
One of the most impactful features of this programme is the way our Pastors and other leaders have been connected to each presentation to ensure maximum effectiveness. It's one thing to talk about children needing to be involved in ministry, but it is another thing altogether to roll up your sleeves and do all you can, with God's help, to engage them, and mark out a path for success.
Without giving away too many of the details of this highly anticipated series (come online and see for yourselves), we look forward to hearing testimonies, songs, and more, from our children. Jesus used them as a model of faith and commitment when He said, "Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 18:3).
In the spirit of Jesus' words, we invite you and your entire family online to experience the power of God, through the ministry of our faithful children August 16-29, 2020 (Sun-Wed at 7:00 PM & Sabbath at 3:30 PM) - www.WatchCJCLive.com.
