Special Project for a child of Special Need

“Mission accomplished.”

That's the word from Vice President in charge of special needs in the Manchester Lay Workers Federation Jusein Marshall-Baker, as she spoke to the Rural Report regarding paving the driveway for wheelchair bound Justin in Thatchwalk on Sunday February 19, 2017.

Members of the Manchester Lay Workers Federation, along with members of the Port Mahoe Seventh-day Adventist Church and members of the Thatchwalk community all assisted in the project to make life a little bit more comfortable for Justin.They also presented the family with a care package and bottles of drinking water.

President of the Association Bev Small thanked the persons who contributed to purchase the material for the job and all who turned out to assist.

Meanwhile, Pastor Barrett, Director for Special Needs, commended members of the Federation and Port Mahoe church for their initiative and encourage similar collaboration throughout the Conference.
