Kathleen McKenzie, who died on the 9th July, 2017, is remembered as a quiet and humble Christian.

She worked in the Sabbath School Department of her Church, and was a member of the Church Choir as well as a Deaconness.

When choir gowns were to be made, it was Kathleen who was the fashion designer. At one time she was even asked to assist with leading the Church Choir at the Ginger Ridge Church—a daughter church to Blue Hole.

Sis Kathleen, the first centenarian of the Blue Hole Church, retired from active Church service in the early 2000s.

She will be laid to rest on the 20th August, 2017.
