Message from the Wheel Coordinator

Published: 11-12-2018 |

TO: ALL PASTORS, ELDERS, MEMBERS & KIND CONTRIBUTORS

Special greetings from the Administration of Central Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the members of the WHEEL Board.

Thank you for your financial support of the WHEEL programme for 2018. In this season, where the spirit of caring and sharing are in the hearts of everyone, please remember to include the WHEEL programme in your considerations. The following two avenues are available for you to make your contributions:

 Online giving – Website: https//give.centralja.org
 On your tithe’s envelope – Choose the option for WHEEL

We are encouraging the 33 churches that are not currently on the programme to join in helping the hundreds of persons whose lives have been positively impacted by WHEEL.

As an update, for the period spanning January to the end of November collections amounted to $8,424,502.78 and the total distributed from the fund is $6,289,466.42.

Worthy of note is assistance given, by WHEEL, to needy students at the Willowdene Group of Schools - $100,000.00, May Pen High School - $100,000.00, and Northern Caribbean University - $250,000.00. $500,000.00 were given to assist with Back to School Projects in all three parishes. The basic schools operated by the churches in our Conference received monetary assistance totaling $1,130,000.00.
