The Central Jamaica Conference Family Ministries Department recently launched the Issues in the Home Bible Lessons. This series was launched on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at the South Manchester Zone Convention held at the Northern Caribbean University Gymnatorium.
The Issues in the Home Bible Lessons is a follow up to the Issues in the Home Seminars for Family Life Educators which was done in 2015 comprising of 15 PowerPoint presentations on CD. The Bible Lesson series includes seven (7) interactive lessons.
In launching the lessons, Dr Roy Dennis, Family Ministries Director, thanked the Conference President, Pastor Levi Johnson, the Conference Administration, the Bible School Coordinator, Mr Delroy Ferguson, his secretary, Ms Michca-Mae Bonner and his wife, Mrs Keisha Dennis for their assistance in making the project possible. He said that “The Issues in the Home Bible Lessons are interactive including questions, discussions and Bible readings with each ending with an appeal. They are also integrative; combining family life concerns with key doctrinal issues to both equip and educate families as well as disciple candidates for God’s kingdom”.
The lessons will be made available through the CJC Bible School and on the CJC website.
